Q: What inspires you most?
A: I’m inspired by ballet and rooms of tutus, old movies, dusty fairytale books, lolita style, japan and childhood…
Q: When did you start making clothes?
A: I have been sewing as long as I can remember - my Nan was a dressmaker and she used to let me get lost in boxes of remnants; I would make dressing up clothes out of net curtains… and we would sew sequins on butterfly shapes every week…
Q: Do you have any designers you admire?
A: Yes definitely - there are lots on Etsy! but I do love Betsey Johnson - her prom collection was lovely…

A: I make things that I would have wanted to wear when I was 5 - but for grown ups…
